Fun Ride Bike-A-Thon 2022

Fundraiser sponsored by Green Lizard Cycling and Rotary Herndon Satellite Club raised $4,200. Green Lizard Cycling refurbished used bicycles and donated them to children in need, while Green Lizard Cycling, Rotary Herndon Satellite Club and local school children raised funds for Kids R First and our children in need! A wonderful, love-filled event!

Casino Night 2022

We are thrilled to report that over $70,000 was donated through ticket purchases, sponsorships, and donated gifts/services. These funds are being used to purchase school supplies for local children of Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties. We anticipate a total of 21,000 children in 78 schools who will receive our assistance. There is the old adage “it takes a village” and our village certainly came together to create an incredibly successful event.

Gift Wrap 2021

What a success! The Kids R First elves were busy at work putting those finishing touches on 300+ gifts this year, raising more than $4,000. OUR MOST SUCCESSFUL GIFT WRAP TO DATE! A huge thanks to all of you who volunteered, donated, cheered us on and kept us going. Check out some of our beautiful wrap projects from this year:

Reston Town Center Holiday Train Ride

Sunday, December 5, 2021 (12pm-4pm)

Each year, Kids R First partners with Myers PR for a day of fun-filled train rides for the young in age and the young at heart. It is through the hard work of Myers PR and the donated talent of local musician, Rick Landers, in which Kids R First was able to raise nearly $1,500 in donations. A huge hug of gratitude to those of you helping our local children of need!

Our 19th Annual Golf Classic

Kids R First held its 19th Annual Golf Classic in late September 2021. Well-attended and an absolute success, we were able to raise $54,000. Thank you all for your support in helping better our community!
